How much does an Electrician cost?

Please note that the First-Hour Minimum Charge is the combined total of Labour and Travel to your site/home for a maximum of one hour only. This is billed at $150 per hour.
Additional hours will be billed separately at the succeeding Hours rate. These rates are as follows:
Electrician: $100 per hour
Apprentice (1st to 4th year): $55 - $85 per hour
We provide free quotes for solar panel installation, home electrical services and commercial electrical services.
We are happy to provide free estimates without a site visit for most jobs.
If you are located in Hastings or Napier, there are no additional travel fees as they are already included in the First Hour Minimum Charge. However, if you are 10km or further from the town centres of Hastings or Napier, you will be charged $1.75 per km in addition to the standard hourly labour charge for the time it takes our team to reach you.
After Hours Charges
Our regular working hours are from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Standard rates apply during these hours. For after-hours, weekends, and public holidays, the initial hour incurs a fee of $300, with subsequent hours incurring a charge of $150.
