Zeus Solar & Electrical was founded in 2019 and rebranded in 2025 to better reflect where our expertise and passion truly sit - solar energy.

Over the years, we worked behind the scenes completing installations for many of the industry’s larger companies. During that time, it became clear that a one-size-fits-all approach simply doesn’t deliver the best outcomes. Every home uses energy differently, and a standard kit rarely accounts for real household needs or future plans.

We believe solar should be designed properly from the start. That means understanding how each household uses power today, how that may change over time, and creating a system built to perform long-term, not just at installation.

Zeus Solar & Electrical is proudly owned and operated by Bjorn, a qualified electrician and solar specialist who personally designs every system we install. With a strong technical background and a genuine passion for solar, Bjorn ensures each system is tailored for performance, efficiency, and future flexibility.

Unlike many solar companies, we do not outsource our installations. All work is completed by our in-house team of qualified electricians, not just installers. This means every project is approached with a full understanding of electrical systems, safety, and how solar integrates throughout the entire home, not simply to the front door.

Based in Havelock North, Zeus Solar & Electrical is a family-run business built on quality workmanship, transparency, and exceptional client experience. Rachel, Bjorn’s partner, manages all photography, marketing, and behind-the-scenes operations, ensuring every part of the business reflects the same care and attention we bring to our installations.

Together with their two children, Raf (4) and Elliot (10), family life is at the heart of everything we do and it shapes our commitment to creating reliable, long-term energy solutions for other families across Hawke’s Bay.
